A great midweek chance to see the giants of Spanish football in action as Barca welcome lower league FC Cartagena to Camp Nou with a 4-1 lead. The game commences at 9pm and should be an easy outing for Barca who hold this strong lead for tonight’s 2nd leg encounter.
The first leg at Estadio Municipal Cartagonova saw the Segunda B League team take the lead through Fernando early on, a goal that must have given FCB a massive scare of an early elimination from the Spanish Cup. Barcelona replied through Pedro on the 36′ minute mark and a goal just before half time from Fabregas saw the Spanish champions take a 2-1 lead at half time. A 2nd from Pedro and an injury time fourth from Dongou ended the night well for the Catalan club and should be enough to see off Cartagena.
