Southwell Racecourse – Watch Live Online!
Nottinghamshire is a great location for live racing and the first racecourse that comes to mind of course is Southwell. The track is now one of just 4 racecourses in the whole of the UK that features an all year round “all-weather” track with it’s fibre and sand surface. A tough track, especially in the stamina department due to the deepness of the surface however, the racecourse is a great indication of the fittest horses throughout the year and has seen some top names at top events in the last decade (notably The 07 Great Yorkshire chase). Of course, the major events at Southwell are always streamed live online.
It was a year ago that flooding destroyed much of the track as well as structural damage to buildings around it. Since then, the track has been fully re-furbished and has commenced it’s meeting schedule (and it’s a busy one at that with races held all the time!).
